The Wailing Wall

This is the Wall that Runners, Proxies, and neutrals have claimed as their own on the land of Sanctuary. It is the crumbling brick wall located on the back side of Sanctuary. Jack, and now Lilith, have deliberately turned a blind eye to their 'desecration' of the house, seeing it as a way for the Rabbits to make it feel like home. The Wailing Wall, or Wall for short, is massive. Prayer notes and messages for loved ones are crammed into the cracks between the bricks, some years old and beginning to wear. Memorials and missing posters adorn much of the wall, overlapping each other many times over. Polaroids, signatures, advice, and art spread from top to bottom. This, this wall is the most sacred of places in all of the Lands. No one dare attack this place, for rumors of what happened to the last few unlucky bastards who attempted it are still floating around. Even the Fears, including the Convocation, are bound to the sanctity of this location. As such, it is frequently used as a meeting ground, a place for reunions and negotiations to take place. The question isn't so much of "Will I be safe here?" as it becomes, "Am I ready for what I will find?" as it is guaranteed, someone, somewhere, has reached out for you somewhere on that wall. Now. Are you ready to face what might be waiting for you?

  9. A faded, yellowing wanted poster is pinned near one corner of the wall.

"Wanted: the Good Doctor. Presumed missing. Last seen: Alaska. No judgement carried, just want answers."

  10. An anonymous comment is written in sharpie above the wanted poster:

"Can't wait to see what you fools do with the notes here, like information can't be deadly."

  13. Some things should not have been remembered. Every moment we tell our stories, is the moment that they thrive. We have to stop!

  14. Under the timber sky, cast in dark
    Purple lights somber above
We stand here knee deep in snow
In hopes of a chance to remember

    Who remembers we who mourn?
Who remembers the dead we mourn?
We cannot forget those we have lost.
We must hold fast to what we can learn.

    Cry for the dead.

Are their words lost to you now?
Do you not hear their whisper?
So many years passed, without a word.
And now there's too much to remember.

    Cry for the dead.
    Let them back in.

Let their words be bound in book
Let their deeds be bound in heart
Let their hearts be bound in self
Let they be as you be as they are

    Cry, Cry for the dead.

And in time, they will cry for you.

  15. A toast to lonely souls who never could take control of life. And all the missing we love. I hope the darkness they find will give them light.

  16. Wailing wall is a good name for it. Stop crying, start living. I'm not dead yet.

  18. Do you hear the people sing, singing the songs of tired men. Those of us who fight the dark, and those who came back again.

Of Underland, we come. For Underland, we fall and rise.
